In this role, you will provide support to end-users for
o Windows, Mac and Linux and systems
o office applications
o hardware diagnostics and replacement as required
o software upgrades
o email/IM and other client configurations
o anti-virus software
o printers/scanners/fax/copier/phone system (LAN)
o smart phones support (blackberry, iphone etc)
Success in this position will depend on:
o Technical skills: PC/Mac software & hardware, Windows 7 and XP, MS Office, basic networking skills, basic Linux skills, Symantec Ghost, Windows server
o Experience: 1-2 years in technical support
o Ability to learn and follow procedures
o Troubleshooting skills (problem recognition, research, isolation and resolution, and follow-up)
o Organizational skills: timeliness, follow-through, documentation, attention to detail
o Focus on customer satisfaction
o Initiative
This is direct-hire, part-time position. As an employee of Afilias, you will be offered development opportunities in the form of coaching and mentoring by senior team members and training.
